Audio Visual Support Field Technician T2

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual (AV) Support Field Technician T2 to join our team. This role involves delivering on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance for audio-visual systems across various client locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AV equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments.

$80,000-$100,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual systems, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video conferencing equipment, and control systems.

  • Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to resolve AV system malfunctions efficiently.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and provide customized solutions.

  • Assist in system upgrades, integrations, and testing to enhance AV performance.

  • Document service activities, including installation details, system configurations, and client interactions.

  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure clients are comfortable operating AV systems.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in audio-visual installation, support, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining AV equipment, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, or similar systems.

  • Familiarity with networking concepts as they relate to AV integration.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and user manuals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron) are a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site work at client locations, including corporate offices, event venues, and other facilities.

  • May involve lifting and installing heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.

  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on client needs.
